Linktober 2019

These are the drawings that I made during October 2019! Find out more about this yearly drawing challenge at linktober.com!

Day 1: Ancient
The prompt for Day 1 is "Ancient" so I drew Koloktos, the Ancient Automaton from Skyward Sword. I quite like this boss because it reminds me of Netero, my favorite character from Hunter x Hunter, one of my favorite anime lol.

Day 2: Fairy Fountain
For Day 2 of Linktober I decided to draw the Great Dragonfly Fairy's fountain from Minish Cap!

Day 3: Sheikah
Made some pixel art of Impa from Skyward Sword for today's Linktober prompt!

Day 4: Ganon/Ganondorf
For today's prompt I decided to draw all four Blight Ganons from Breath of the Wild!

Day 5: Spirits/Guides
I drew Faron, one of the Spirits of Light, from Twilight Princess for today's Linktober prompt!

Day 6: Din/Farore/Nayru
Just went with some simple 8-bit pixel art of Din, Farore, and Nayru from the Oracle games for today's Linktober prompt! I was kind of laughing to myself as I made these little little characters, but I actually have a lot of respect for those who are able to make top-notch 8-bit art, because I find it relatively difficult to cram a ton of life and implied detail into such a limited workspace.

Day 7: Favorite Character
For today's Linktober prompt I decided to draw Makar from Wind Waker! Some people may find him annoying, but I love this adorable little derp.

Day 8: Wildlife/Animal
For today's Linktober prompt I drew a sleepy little snowcoat fox from Breath of the Wild!

Day 9: Forest
Today I drew the Great Deku Tree, guardian of Kokiri Forest, from Ocarina of Time adorned with autumnal colors!

Day 10: Weapon
I drew one of my favorite weapons to use in Breath of the Wild for today's Linktober prompt! In a game defined by finite weapon durability, having an infinite source of Remote Bombs via the Sheikah Slate rune is just too tempting for me. X)

Day 11: Shopkeeper/Merchant
You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you? Whipped up some eerie pixel art of the Happy Mask Salesman from Majora's Mask for today's Linktober submission!

Day 12: Power
Mathematical! You got the ...Power Glove? :P The Gauntlet of the Hero Billy from Adventure Time always gave me Power Glove vibes, so I decided to draw a Finn-style version of our pink-haired protagonist from A Link to the Past for this Linktober entry.

Day 13: Zelda
I decided to draw Zelda with her short hairstyle from the upcoming Breath of the Wild sequel! I thought about what it would be like if she started to become afflicted with Malice and this was the result.

Day 14: Skull Kid
I think that there's already enough ominous and menacing artwork of Skull Kid from when he was corrupted by Majora's Mask, so I decided to draw some wholesome artwork of him instead lol. I tried simulating a watercolor effect for this piece depicting Skull Kid hanging out with his fairy pal, Tael.

Day 15: Kakariko Village
For my Day 15 Linktober entry I drew the hot springs in Kakariko Village from Twilight Princess, where you can find a couple Gorons chillaxing in the water.

Day 16: Dragon
I drew Lanayru the Thunder Dragon from Skyward Sword for my 16th Linktober submission. I remember when the game first came out, my brother and I would take turns trying to beat his minigame in Hero Mode until we finally received the Hylian Shield and we felt so excited and accomplished after getting it lol.

Day 17: Wisdom
Keepin' it simple for this Linktober submission. I drew Tetra's necklace from Wind Waker, which also happens to be a piece of the Triforce of Wisdom.

Day 18: Boss
For this Linktober prompt I made some pixel art of the ever-fabulous Demon Lord Ghirahim from Skyward Sword!

Day 19: Link
I drew our sleepy-eyed, bushy-browed, bed-headed hero from Wind Waker for this Linktober submission! Ready to save Hyrule ..after five more minutes.

Day 20: Companion
For this Linktober entry I drew Ezlo from the Minish Cap in his original form, before Vaati transformed him into a hat.

Day 21: Graveyard (Cemetery)
I drew Flat's grave from beneath Ikana Graveyard in Majora's Mask for this submission.

Day 22: Korok
For this Linktober prompt, I made some pixel art of a couple of the more notable Koroks from Breath of the Wild, Chio and Hestu!

Day 23: Fairy/Great Fairy
For this prompt I drew the Great Fairy who resides within the Cave of Ordeals in Twilight Princess.

Day 24: Redesign Link's Outfit
I drew an altered version of the Soldier's Armor set from Breath of the Wild for this Linktober prompt, complete with a custom Hylian Tower Shield and Master Lance. I took some inspiration from the Black Knights from Dark Souls for this piece.

Day 25: Zora's Domain
For this Linktober theme, I drew the Zora King's frozen throne from Ocarina of Time.

Day 26: Species/Race
I chose to draw an Anouki, one of the races from Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, for this Linktober prompt. Always thought these little guys were pretty peculiar lol.

Day 27: Bug
Decided on Mothula from Wind Waker for this Linktober theme. This winged variant of the enemy was definitely one of my favorite mini-bosses from the game, alongside Phantom Ganon.

Day 28: Courage
For this Linktober prompt, I drew Oaki braving the Korok trial during The Lost Pilgrimage quest in Breath of the Wild. I admit that it took me a few tries to successfully and stealthily trail this courageous lil fella.

Day 29: NPC Non-Player Character
Money talks at Malo Mart! I love this short-statured yet sassy and savvy shopkeeper from Twilight Princess.

Day 30: Sage
I made pixel art of the Sword of the Six Sages that was introduced in Twilight Princess for this penultimate Linktober prompt. I always thought it was so badass that Ganondorf extracted this weapon meant to execute him right out of his gut and used it for his own ends; even utilizing it during the final fight of the game.

Day 31: FREE FOR ALL!
Wanted to show some love for the most recent installment in the Zelda franchise, namely the Link's Awakening remake, with this final Linktober submission - but with a spoopy twist!
